I am looking to setup a new piece to our in house application. I want to have a RTC server running on a box and have it push to client notifications when events happen. I want the client to register with the server so that the server knows who to notify. I got that piece working. What I want to add is that when the server comes on line it can broadcast to all the clients, via a list from active directory, that its online and the clients can then register.

So does that mean I have to have a RTC Server also running on my client to receive such a broadcast message? Any thoughts or input is appreciated.

Here are two topics on the RTC Forums discussing a situation where Server has to "push" data to Clients:

Topic on Streaming headlines.
Topic on working with TRtcDelayedCall.
