RealThinClient SDK is now a Teppi Product

We are happy to announce that Teppi Technology – a Tokyo JAPAN based independent software developer – has acquired “RealThinClient SDK” IP from DeltaSoft d.o.o. on Feb. 26th 2018.
Teppi Technology is not a Silicon Valley giant, but a long time RealThinClient SDK user. With DeltaSoft founder Danijel Tkalčec – designer and developer of RealThinClient SDK – joined Teppi Technology’s offshore development team, we keep our commitment to investing on developing quality software products and to helping our customers deliver successful products.

All “RealThinClient SDK” users with an active subscription from “DeltaSoft” will continue having access to “RealThinClient SDK” updates and support (through RTC Forums) until their original subscription expires (no action is required on your side for this), and ... you will receive a separate E-Mail with details on how to renew your “RealThinClient SDK” subscription with “Teppi Technology” (should you be interested in doing so), shortly before the expiration date of your original subscription from “DeltaSoft”.

What changes with this acquisition?
Since the "RealThinClient SDK" is now a "Teppi Technology" product, all business decisions related to "RealThinClient SDK" are now in the capable hands of Kunikazu Okada, who is the CEO of "Teppi Technology". And since E-Mails are for General Pre-Sales Questions and Administrative purposes, Kunikazu Okada is also handling E-Mails now (instead of me - Danijel Tkalcec).
What remains the same?
I am still in charge of "RealThinClient SDK" development and plan to continue being involved in "RealThinClient SDK" Development and Quality Assurance for many more years to come. And since I'm still the most qualified person to answer technical questions related to the "RealThinClient SDK", you will also see me answering most of your questions on the "RTC Forums".
Best Regards,
Danijel Tkalcec

Just FYI ...
1. Because the current RTC SDK version has been working very well with no changes or interventions for more than two years (as of this writing), we've decided to keep the RTC SDK in "maintenance-only" state for the foreseeable future, which means that there will be NO MORE UPDATES released, unless we find a critical bug that needs fixing.
2. The ONLY platform we are now officially supporting is Windows (32-bit and 64-bit) and the ONLY components we support are those included in the "rtcSDK.dpk" package located in the "Lib" folder. We no longer provide any kind of support for other platforms (iOS, Android, macOSX, Linux, whatever) and we do NOT provide any kind of support for components or units in the "Legacy" folder.
3. We've abandoned our plans to develop a new component set for Delphi to replace the RTC SDK, since the main goal for that new Project was to make something that is much easier to maintain (it was going to be much simpler than the RTC SDK), but ... it turns out that the RTC SDK does not require much maintenance either, as long as I don't keep adding new features to it (see point 1).
Best Regards,
Danijel Tkalcec
